The publication is out now! The aim of this output is to strengthen engagement of young people in STEM activities and science through interactive, attractive and effective activities. The task was led by University of Cyprus who developed the initial framework for partners to review and give feedback. It will focus on:
- developing novel concepts to actively integrate young people in science education using a contest-based approach to self-produced digital education materials from young people for young people
- developing inspirational topic sheets, guides and toolkits for schools, teachers, and other youth-oriented institutions
- generating creative digital materials (videos, slides, marketing campaigns, app design or infographics) for pupils and students in the age from 10 to 20 etc.
- development of an on-line platform to host the digital education materials and the contest.
This methodology is linked also to career related learning and support delivered by vocational advisers to highlight the practical links between the subjects being taught, employer based projects and the career pathway options to be pursued by young people.
